Only Theatre of Pain was Christian Death's debut full-length album. Originally released by Frontier Records in 1982, this album is considered the harbringer of deathrock and American goth rock. It should be noted that all tracks after "Prayer" (on the later published CD version only) actually comprise the earlier EP, "Deathwish".

NO TEARS - France/Belgium
No Tears was created in 2001 by Paul Fiction (keyboards, programmings) in order to give a new life to early 80's new wave/cold wave. BORDERLINE", the first album was released in december 2004. Summer 2003,Lois Johon Slut and Afterglauk leave the cold-wave band Trespass to found Deadchovsky. The first album, “Decadence Revolution” was released in 2004. The music may remind of Sex Gang Children, Le Sourire Décousu, Alien Sex Fiend, Killing Joke, Joy Division… and many others. “Decadence Revolution” gets a good feedback worldwide. EXCES NOCTURNE - France
Excès Nocturne was born in 1984. A cold wave/new wave approach, carried by the exceptional voice of Ariane. From 86 to 89, Excès Nocturne toured and recorded several tapes and a 12inch. Volanges, a three-head rock combo heavily influenced by underground 80s music, likes to be labelled as dark romantic under psychedelic tension.
